While Bibles are easy to find and purchase here in the
States, it is not so in every part of the world. In many places whole
congregations do not have Bibles. Yes, it is shocking to us. But,
Bibles are hard to come by and expensive in areas hard hit by war,
poverty, disease, and religious persecution. Equip Disciples is sponsoring a fun BikeRunWalk to
provide Spanish and English Bibles for local needs at Mission Arlington
and to raise money for Bible distribution in DR Congo, Rwanda, and Kenya
this summer. We want to raise enough funds for 700 Bibles. That is
$7,000. Come join us for the fun and for the
cause. If you cannot attend, you may donate online for Bibles ($5=1/2 a
Bible; $10=1 Bible). --Bike, Run, or Walk to raise funds for Bibles in Africa!

"For the training of the saints in the work of
ministry,
to build up the body of Christ,
until we all reach unity in the faith
and in the knowledge of God's Son,
growing into a mature man with
a stature measured by Christ's fullness."
(Ephesians 4.12-13, HCSB)
