Play/charge details:

It takes 14 hours in direct sunlight to fully charge the player to play 10 hours.
The players do not trickle-charge in overcast or shadowy conditions.

Capacity:

Older units started at 32MB capacity. The encoding format is much more efficient than MP3 encoding, so this capacity can hold about 9 hours of recorded material. If the original recordings are of good quality, the compression ratio can be even higher and hold more material.
Currently, units start at 128MB capacity, which is enough to hold the entire Bible as long as the original recordings are of high enough quality. 256MB units are also available, and can hold up to 160 hours of material.
