In addition to prayer support, the personal commitment of time, the exercise of spiritual gifts and employment of talents, financial support is always graciously accepted and used for the glory of God and the building up of his kingdom!

We welcome contributions towards specific ministries or "where needed most". We know that God moves individuals with specific burdens, and contributions to a need in turn ensures strong prayer support: "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Luke 12.34). Below are listed some specific giving opportunities for 2008.

Equip Disciples is a Nonprofit corporation in the State of Texas. We are in the process of seeking a 501(c)(3) determination from the IRS and fully expect this to be granted within the next few months.

Conference costs Costs of leadership conferences in Africa are borne in part by participants and partner ministries, but need-based scholarships greatly extend the accessibility of training into rural areas and other areas challenged economically in the wake of violence and drought. Scholarships for children in the children's-worker training conferences are also needed. Mission trip expenses Mission participants fund their own expenses or raise their own support. This can be quite challenging: trips to Costa Rica cost $100's and trips to Africa cost $1,000's. Donations can be given in preference of an individual's expenses. Bibles Many pastors and church leaders in Africa don't have a single resource for studying the Bible. Some don't even have a complete Bible. A study Bible provides a much needed and much used resource. Bibles for children are also highly prized. @ $20 per Study Bible @ $10 per Children's Bible

MegaVoices MegaVoice solar-powered audio-Bible players provide access to God's Word in one's own language, even if the individual can't read. And entire families can listen together. Currently we are distributing these units in Costa Rica among the Cabecar. @ about $32 each
