Costa Rica - March 16-24, 2009 see background info

Location:	Grano de Oro, Costa Rica
Mission:	To lead a church leadership conference for church leaders in the Cabécar Indian Reserve. We will work with River of God ministries: Timothy Jones, Philip Jones, and David Jones. We will be training rural church leaders in the use of discipleship curriculum and other topics to be determined. Other opportunities may include: MegaVoice distribution; and a children's discipleship workshop.
Personnel Needed:	Bible teachers to teach the Worldview Discipleship Curriculum, children's teachers, general workers, artist, people with heart for discipleship.
Requirements:	Background in at least one of the areas above, immunizations: Hep. A and B. Required meetings each month; personal pre-trip teaching preparation; cultural readings. Tent camping and strenuous hiking.

Kenya - July 16-27, 2009 see background info

Mission:	To lead a church leadership conference for 200 indigenous church leaders in Kenya. We will work with the K. Fellowship of Pastors and Alfred M. We will be training both urban and rural church leaders, some of whom have had no formal training. We will be distributing Bibles and discipleship resources for them for use in their various ministries.
Personnel Needed:	Bible Teachers who will be teaching from the Worldview Discipleship Materials, person to teach pastoral topics, Children's Sunday School Conference teachers, HIV/AIDS awareness teachers, general workers, people with heart for discipleship.
Requirements:	Background in at least one of the areas above, immunizations- Hep. A and B; Yellow Fever; Typhoid Fever; Meningitis; tetanus; malaria medication; Required meetings each month; personal pre-trip teaching preparation; cultural readings. Lodging will be in the city, possibly hotel or rental house.
Cost:	To be determined (around $3,000). Cost to include airfare and in-country expenses, plus $200 for ministry resources. . Some costs may be offset by general donations. Rwanda - July 26- Aug. 4, 2009 see background info

Mission:	To lead a church leadership conference for 100 rural indigenous church leaders and a youth camp for orphans in Gisenya, Rwanda. We will work with Dieudonne, an indigenous missions coordinator for the Evangelical Churches of Rwanda. We will be training rural church leaders in the use of discipleship curriculum, and to be determined topics. We will also be leading a discipleship and sports camp for orphan youth ages 13-16. We will be distributing Bibles and discipleship resources for them for use in ministry.
Personnel Needed:	Bible Teachers to teach the Worldview Discipleship Curriculum, person to teach pastoral topics, youth and sports camp teachers/workers, women's ministry teachers, HIV/AIDS awareness teachers, trauma counselors, general workers, artist, people with heart for discipleship.
Requirements:	Background in at least one of the areas above, immunizations- Hep. A and B; Yellow Fever; Typhoid Fever; Meningitis; tetanus; malaria medication; Required meetings each month; personal pre-trip teaching preparation; cultural readings. Lodging will be in a urban hotel.
