Kenya - July 17-26, 2008 see background info

Mission:	To lead a church leadership conference for 200 indigenous church leaders in Kenya. We will work with the K. Fellowship of Pastors and Alfred M. We will be training both urban and rural church leaders, some of whom have had no formal training. We will be distributing Bibles and discipleship resources for them to use.
Personnel Needed:	Bible Teachers, person to teach pastoral topics, Children's teachers, women's ministry teachers, HIV/AIDS awareness teachers, trauma counseling teachers, general workers, artist, people with heart for discipleship.
Requirements:	Background in at least one of the areas above, immunizations- Hep. A and B; Yellow Fever; Typhoid Fever; Meningitis; tetanus; malaria medication; Required meetings each month; personal pre-trip teaching preparation; cultural readings. Lodging will be in the city, possibly hotel or people's homes.
Cost:	To be determined. Cost to include airfare and in-country expenses. Some costs may be offset by general donations. Support Letters: If you need financial assistance, you might consider a letter to friends and family describing what you will be doing this summer, requesting financial support for your trip.

DR Congo - July 26-August 3, 2008 see background info

Mission:	To lead a church leadership conference for 100 rural indigenous church leaders in Goma, DR Congo. We will work with Beyond the Bridge Ministries, Martin N. is the president. We will be training rural church leaders in the use of discipleship curriculum, and to be determined topics. We will also be leading a discipleship and sports camp for child soldiers ages 13-16. We will be distributing Bibles and discipleship resources for them to use.
Personnel Needed:	Bible Teachers, person to teach pastoral topics, youth and sports camp teachers/workers, women's ministry teachers, HIV/AIDS awareness teachers, trauma counselors, general workers, artist, people with heart for discipleship.

Discipleship Training for Cabecar pastors/church leaders in Grano de Oro, Costa Rica (date TBA).

Location:	Grano de Oro, Costa Rica
Mission:	To lead a church leadership conference for church leaders in the Cabécar Indian Reserve. We will work with River of God ministries: Timothy Jones, Philip Jones, and David Jones. We will be training rural church leaders in the use of discipleship curriculum and other topics to be determined. Other opportunities may include: MegaVoice distribution; completion of a 3-D Holy Land map for Bible teaching (a project we started a couple of years ago); construction of a Bible history timeline in Cabécar; a children's discipleship workshop.
Personnel Needed:	Bible teachers, children's teachers, general workers, artist, people with heart for discipleship.
Requirements:	Background in at least one of the areas above, immunizations: Hep. A and B. Required meetings each month; personal pre-trip teaching preparation; cultural readings. Lodging will be in missionaries' home.
